DESIGN COMMUNICATION
Project 1 - On-site sketching, Tonal Values and Presentation
I learnt independently and able to locate, extract, synthesize and utilize information effectively. Not only that,I learnt about intellectual engaged which I learnt to sketch the building with correct proportion.
From this project, I learnt about the way to illustrate architectural forms and space through visualization and expression of space in the form of free-hand drawing.
Project 2A - Orthographic Projections
From this project, I learnt about how to illustrate architectural forms and spaces through visualization and expression of space in the form of manual drawing. Interpret visual information using two-dimensional and three-dimensional orthographic drawings.
I able to put theories into practice and I understand professional practice within the field of study. This help me to discipline specific knowledge in drawing orthographic drawings.
Project 2B - Axonometric Projection
From this project, I learnt about how to introduce design communication skills through architectural graphics and also learnt how to develop skills in visualization and communication of architectural idea, space and form.
I am able to apply the theories and the ways of drawings in my axonometric projection. Through this project, I can use my skills in my future project.
Project 2C - Perspectives
From this project, I learnt about how to draw one-point perspective view and also two-point perspective view from my plan view. I am able to communicate architecture ideas through my drawings.
I am able to learn independently which I do more research about how to draw perspective view and learn it myself. I also utilize information effectively through researching and drawings.
Compilation of the projects
Project 3 - Orthographic (Integrated with design studio)
From this project, I apply my design communication skill in it. I am able to use the skills effectively to fit in my project. Through the project, my drawing skills become way more better.
I am able to use the skills that I have learnt from previous project and apply it effectively in this project. I am able to use my drawing to explain my model in my design studio project. This let people more easier to understand what I am going to present instead of just talking.
